Non Formal Education
Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK) is serving non-formal primary education at Durgapur and Kalmakanda Upa-zila in Netrokona district having technical, supervisory and financial assistance from Brac since 1993.DSK follows Brac method of non-formal education.

The main purpose of the initiative was to bring the underprivileged, dropouts and out of school poor students to mainstream education.
With the help of government supported NFE (non-formal education)and Care supported project (since 1997 till date), DSK is able to prepare different education materials and imparted life skills to support disadvantaged drop out children. In current projects, students complete class five education and thereafter are admitted to class six in government schools. Besides, DSK is supporting ten non-formal schools covering three hundred out of school students living in low income settlements in wet land areas of Durgapur in Netrakona near river Shomeshawari!
