When DSK observed in the city areas the septic tank sover flowed and untreated fecal sludge started to pollute the environment which in turn brought a substantial threat to Public health and the environment, at that time it implemented this project. Vacutug is a suction pump to suck out fecal sludge from the septic tank or from the pit, and after collection, the waste is transferred to the dumping site. After the initial grant period, the project activities have been going on in a self-financed mode.
